Quick verdict by use case
- Choose Uscreen if you want the established all-in-one
- Uscreen is a mature, shipping membership platform with an installed base, a support organization, and breadth beyond a video library — community, live streaming and marketing tooling are part of its pitch. If you want one vendor for all of that today, from a company with years of launches behind it, choose Uscreen.
- Consider Propel if your product is the video library itself
- Propel is a video-first subscription platform: your library, your brand, your apps on web, iOS, Android, Apple TV and Android TV, with subscriptions, one-time purchases and free previews. No community suite, no marketing stack — the viewing experience is the product. If that is what your members actually pay for, it deserves to be the whole product.
- Choose neither if you are pre-audience or ad-funded
- Neither platform finds you an audience, and neither is built for free, ad-supported viewing. If you have not yet validated that people will pay for your video, validate that first — on the audience you already have, with the tools you already use.
The calculator models your own revenue; it embeds no Uscreen fee and no Propel price.
Propel vs Uscreen: like for like
Compare product structure below. Unverified Uscreen terms point to the primary source instead of an assumed figure.
| Dimension | Propel | Uscreen |
|---|---|---|
| Audience | Creator-sized video businesses selling access to an on-demand library. | Video membership operators, from creators to brands, on an all-in-one membership platform. |
| Web, mobile, TV | Supported screens: Web, iOS, Android, Apple TV, Android TV. Own-brand web on Studio; own mobile and TV apps on Brand. | Uscreen documents its own app coverage and plan scope; read it on uscreen.tv, dated in the sources below. |
| Per-subscriber fees | Studio includes 300 active paying members and Brand 1,500. Beyond the allowance, members are €0.40 (Studio) and €0.30 (Brand) each a month. No percentage of your sales is taken on any plan. Excl. VAT. See /pricing. | Whether a plan carries a per-subscriber fee is exactly what to read on Uscreen's pricing page — no figure has been verified for this page. |
| Storage and usage limits | Library: 150 h on Studio, 500 h on Brand. Extra storage is paid. | Uscreen's schedule of fees documents its storage and usage terms; verify them there, on the day you decide. |
| Support model | Direct contact with a small pre-launch team. | An established support organization — one of the genuine advantages of a mature platform. |
| Brand and app ownership | Branding depends on the plan. Ownership and store-account terms remain questions to settle in writing. | A contract question on every platform. Ask it in writing, of Uscreen and of us. |
| Launch maturity | Propel is pre-launch and open for early access. | Shipping for years, with an installed base of live customer services. |
What Uscreen costs today
As of 4 September 2026, this page publishes no Uscreen price: no figure here has yet been verified against Uscreen's own pricing page and fee schedule. Uscreen's published plans, per-subscriber fees and usage charges change, so read them directly on uscreen.tv on the day you decide.
No Uscreen figure is printed on this page.
Current Uscreen pricing and limits have not yet been verified against Uscreen's own published pricing for this page — so it states no plan price, no fee, no percentage and no cap, not even as a range. A figure appears here only after it has been read on Uscreen's own site, dated, and quoted as the source states it.
Until then, the only source worth your trust is Uscreen's own pricing page — read it directly on the day you decide, because published pricing changes without notice.
Four lines decide what Uscreen costs you, at your subscriber count and sales mix:
- What does the plan itself cost?
- Uscreen publishes plan pricing with monthly and annual billing. Read the current figure there; it changes without notice.
- Is there a per-subscriber component?
- A fee per subscriber makes cost grow with your success. Check each plan's terms on Uscreen's plan comparison.
- What usage is metered?
- Storage, streaming and add-ons can be billed by usage. Uscreen's schedule of fees is the primary source.
- What does a one-time sale cost you?
- A one-time sale can carry different fees than a subscription. Read the schedule against the mix you sell.
Model your own cost
Your members, your price, your gross. Every assumption is printed beside the result.
What this assumes
- Every member pays the same amount, every month.
- Nobody cancels, and nobody is on a discount or a free trial.
- Taxes, payment costs and platform costs are not deducted.
Worked example. 200 members paying €15 a month is €3,000 a month, or €36,000 a year, before any costs.
A revenue model, not a savings claim. It embeds no Uscreen fee and no Propel fee. Put beside your gross:
- Uscreen's current published fees, from the dated sources below.
- Propel's published plans: €199/mo on Studio, €599/mo on Brand plus a one-time €3,500 app launch, excluding VAT. No percentage of your sales is taken.
Apps and platform coverage

| Question | Propel | Uscreen |
|---|---|---|
| Which screens? | Web, iOS, Android, Apple TV, Android TV. Own-brand web on Studio; native apps on Brand. No other screens promised. | Documented on uscreen.tv, per plan. Not verified for this page. |
| What do the apps cost? | Own-brand web: Studio €199/mo. Native apps: Brand €599/mo plus a one-time €3,500 app launch. Excludes VAT. | Check which plan or add-on includes which screens; put that in your cost model. |

Where Uscreen is stronger
Uscreen's maturity and broader membership tools may justify staying.
- Years of shipping: a young product's sharp edges have been found by someone else.
- An installed base of live customer services, and a support organization rather than a support inbox.
- Breadth: community, live streamed events and marketing tooling in one platform. Propel has none of these.
- Switching costs are real: re-subscription friction, new store listings, retraining your audience.
Where Propel may fit better
What Propel offers today — not a roadmap.
- A branded on-demand library with recurring access, one-time purchases and free previews.
- Confirmed apps on web, ios, android, apple tv, android tv, under your brand, as a white-label streaming platform. Hosted in the EU. Your subscribers stay yours.
- Published pricing: €199/mo on Studio and €599/mo on Brand, excluding VAT, with no percentage of your sales taken. Anything the two plans do not cover is scoped and quoted.
What Propel does not do
Propel is deliberately narrow. If items on this list are load-bearing for your membership, stay on a platform that provides them.
- No community platform
No feeds, spaces, comments or member-to-member messaging.
- No LMS or courses
No lessons, drip schedules, quizzes or certificates.
- No coaching or client tracking
No client forms, programs or progress tracking.
- No funnels or email marketing
Propel does not replace your marketing stack.
- No marketplace discovery
Your storefront is listed in the Propel app, but audience acquisition remains your work; Propel brings no audience. Your subscribers come from you.
- Migration is a paid add-on on Studio
Done-for-you migration is €490 on Studio and included on Brand; recurring billing does not transfer from another platform by itself, so some members will need to re-subscribe.
Switching considerations
Budget the cutover and confirm what the migration service covers before choosing a plan.
- Export your content
Your video masters should never live only inside a platform. Confirm you hold the originals, or export them, before you touch anything else. Done-for-you migration is €490 on Studio and included on Brand.
- Plan subscriber and payment continuity
Recurring billing does not transfer by itself. Ask your current platform what subscriber data you can export, and ask any new vendor — including us, in writing — what can be imported and what your members will have to do themselves. Assume some members re-enter card details, and price the churn of that honestly.
- Settle the store-account question
If your apps are published from the platform's store accounts, they are unpublished when you leave, and your new apps are new listings. Whose accounts publish, and who owns the builds, decides what a switch costs you in app-store continuity. Get it in writing on both sides.
- Sequence the cutover
Run the numbers on a quiet month, announce early, and keep the old service live until the new one has taken payments end to end. A switch that saves money but drops a renewal cycle did not save money.
Agree the migration scope in writing; do not assume the service transfers billing or store accounts.

FAQ
How much does Uscreen cost per month? +
No Uscreen figure is printed here; none has been verified for this page. Read Uscreen's pricing page, plan comparison and schedule of fees, linked above with checked dates. Published pricing changes without notice.
Does Uscreen charge per subscriber? +
Check Uscreen's pricing page and schedule of fees on the day you decide; no figure is verified here. A per-subscriber fee makes platform cost grow with membership, so include it in your renewal calculation.
Does Uscreen have an app? +
Uscreen documents its apps and plan scope on uscreen.tv; those terms are unverified here. Propel's complete supported list is web, iOS, Android, Apple TV and Android TV. Check the published Propel plans for each app's availability.
Is Uscreen worth it? +
For an operator who uses the breadth — community, live streaming, marketing tools, a mature support organization — it can be. For a business that is really a video library with subscribers, you pay for scope you do not use.
How mature is Propel compared with Uscreen? +
Uscreen has years of shipped launches and an installed base. Propel is pre-launch and open for early access, with a video-first product and direct contact with the team building it.
Who should not switch away from Uscreen? +
Anyone whose members use the community, live streaming or marketing features, anyone mid-growth who cannot absorb a re-subscription cycle, and anyone who needs a long production track record today.
