Propel for bodybuilding coaches

Add a paid video library to your bodybuilding brand

Posing, execution and contest-prep education, sold as a membership under your own name, alongside the roster you already coach.

  • For coaches, not for athletes shopping for one
  • Apps for Web, iOS, Android, Apple TV, Android TV
  • Your subscribers stay yours
A proposed library: one entry per pose or exercise, with filmed critiques grouped separately.

Who this is for

If you are the athlete rather than the coach, nothing here is for sale to you.

Propel fits if

  • You coach physique athletes and have an audience beyond your paying roster.
  • You teach the same posing and execution points every season.
  • You want followers who cannot afford prep coaching to have something to buy.
  • You want the library under your own name, next to your coaching offer.

Look elsewhere if

  • You are an athlete looking for a coach.
  • You want software for check-ins, macros, weekly photos or roster management.
  • You expect a platform to make prep decisions or publish pharmacology.
  • You have nothing filmed yet, so a subscriber would pay for an empty library.
The content

A posing and technique library

Everything you demonstrate in a posing session and then demonstrate again next week.

Mandatory poses
Lat spreads, side chest, abdominals and thighs, quarter turns: one video per pose, filmed from the judge's angle.
Posing routines
Transitions, breathing, holding poses and what happens during prejudging, explained as reusable education.
Lift execution
Setup, range, and the difference between moving a weight and loading a muscle, per exercise.
Tempo and intensity technique
Controlled eccentrics, stretch-position work and partials, demonstrated rather than left as names in a program.
Filmed critiques as teaching examples
A pose or set reviewed on camera, with corrections explained for everyone watching. Published to every subscriber, so use footage you have written permission to publish.
Off-season and prep education
General building-phase education and contest logistics: tanning, trunks and stage walk. Individual prep decisions stay outside the library.

Where coaching ends and content begins

Sell reusable teaching here. Keep each athlete's prep decisions and feedback in the coaching relationship.

  • No check-ins

No weekly photo submissions, no weights, no measurements, no feedback loop.

  • No macros or diet plans

Propel does not build, hold or deliver an intake plan, and tracks no food, weight or measurement.

  • No individual prep decisions

Nothing in the product adapts anything to one athlete. Prep stays in your coaching relationship.

  • No athlete management

No roster, no compliance reporting, no per-client dashboard.

  • No pharmacology content

Propel will not host performance-enhancing drug protocols, and makes no claim about any physique or health outcome.

The economics

A membership alongside your coaching roster

A library gives followers outside your coaching roster something to buy. This is publishing software for coaches, not a coach-finding service.

Propel supports subscriptions, one-time purchase, free previews. Members pay by card, apple pay, google pay. Sell recurring access explains the models; confirm the offer details below.

  • Can the library be split into tiers, so posing and full access price differently?

Tiering beyond one membership is not confirmed.

  • What protection is there against a member re-uploading paid video?

No protection capability is confirmed — an open question, not a feature.

  • What happens to a member's access when they cancel?

Confirm access rules before publishing your cancellation policy.

Bring your following size and a price in mind.

Gym floor and living room

How members watch

Apps are available for Web, iOS, Android, Apple TV, Android TV. Test gym-floor and living-room viewing; no other device or store is claimed.

  • Find an execution cue on a phone between sets.
  • Try a full posing critique on television, where the judge's angle is easier to study.
  • Confirm cross-device account access and purchase rules before describing them to members.
The numbers

A membership scenario

Members multiplied by price. Use the audience you can reach for free, and a low conversion rate.

Revenue per month, before costs €3,000
Revenue per year, before costs €36,000

What this assumes

  • Every member pays the same amount, every month.
  • Nobody cancels, and nobody is on a discount or a free trial.
  • Taxes, payment costs and platform costs are not deducted.

Worked example. 200 members paying €15 a month is €3,000 a month, or €36,000 a year, before any costs.

Revenue before payment processing, app-store commission, tax and your platform plan. Assumptions appear beside the figure. Your Propel plan is not deducted here: €199/mo on Studio, €599/mo on Brand, and no cut of your sales. Model your platform costs, then compare with adding athletes to your roster.

Bodybuilding library FAQ

How much do I need filmed before I open it?

The mandatories covered properly plus one complete education series. Depth matters more than the count.

What stops a member downloading my videos and sharing them?

What protection the platform offers is not confirmed, so ask before you plan around it.

My content changes between off-season and prep. Does that work?

Plan building-phase material for the off-season and stage education for competition season. Review reusable modules each year and keep individual prep advice in coaching.

Will a paid library cannibalise my coaching sales?

A library can serve followers who do not buy prep coaching. Keep its general education distinct from individual feedback, and check demand with your own audience before assuming extra sales.

What does Propel cost, and when can I launch?

Studio is €199/mo for your own-brand web app and Brand is €599/mo with your own iOS, Android, Apple TV and Android TV apps, plus a one-time €3,500 app launch. Propel takes no percentage of your sales. All prices exclude VAT. Propel is pre-launch and open for early access; no launch or store-review date is published.
